GAINESVILLE, Fla., October 5, 2018 – During an interview with Gregory Caudill, Candidate for Alachua County Commissioner, District 2, host Ward Scott of the Ward Scott Files and Republican write-in candidate for the same race announced his withdraw from the race and immediate endorsement and support for Gregory Caudill’s campaign.

Today on the Ward Scott Files, Scott said that “Greg is a common sense guy, a real person, he understands how to think. He’s got a little starch in his shirt and knows how to be polite, but firm, and will take on the group-think.”

Gregory Caudill said “I am honored to have the endorsement and support of Ward Scott, my Republican opponent in this race until he decided the time was right to unite forces and win this seat for the benefit of all Alachua County residents.”

Gregory Caudill is currently employed by the State of Florida as the database analyst to the Department of Citrus. Caudill and his wife Gelenn also operate their own international online retail business. In 2003, Caudill enlisted in the United States Army and soon after deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Caudill is running as a candidate for the Libertarian Party of Florida.
